About Us

Meg Bell

PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Meg grew up on a beef and cropping farm in the Limestone Coast of South Australia. After completing a Bachelor of Livestock Science with Honours at the University of New England, Meg had a stint as a sales nutritionist in the dairy industry, before starting down the path of becoming a livestock consultant.

Meg currently works in a number of roles: CEO of the MacKillop Farm Management Group, Coordinator of the Limestone Coast Red Meat Cluster, Lifetime Ewe Management group trainer and Better Beef group coordinator.

Meg also provides one-on-one advice to farmers, specialising in ruminant production systems, nutrition and health, and is the current Vice President of the Grassland Society of Southern Australia.

Owen McClure

PRINCIPAL VETERINARIAN

Owen grew up on a beef and sheep property in the Western District of Victoria.

After completing a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology/Bachelor of Vet Science at Charles Sturt University, Owen returned to the family farm where he works with his family to produce Hereford cattle, crossbred lambs and Merino wool.

Owen also practices as a vet, servicing clients in the Western District and Limestone Coast.
